East Side Elementary kicks off Magnolia READS on Monday, April 5th, 2021 with a virtual pep rally students can watch in their classrooms. Over the next several weeks, teachers will read the book, BILLY SURE KID ENTREPRENEUR, in class with their students. Three local businesses have challenged these students to create inventions according to their grade level. Projects will be put on display in the hallways for everyone to see. Magnolia READS is a financial literacy initiative that stands for READING EMPOWERS ALL DISTRICT STUDENTS.
