The Magnolia Public Schools Foundation Teacher and Staff Grant Program supports student learning through grants to teachers. The Foundation funds unique or innovative programs or resources, collaborations between teachers, instructional materials, teacher professional development, and more.  MPSF grants are designed to provide funding for projects that increase learning opportunities for students and reward the creative initiative of teachers.  MPSF grants are funded by generous contributions from private individuals and corporate partners.  MPSF’s mission is to promote and support excellence in education.  One of the ways in which they accomplish this is by attracting private and philanthropic funds to sustain and expand educational programs that fall outside the Magnolia Public Schools normal operating budget.

The Magnolia Public Schools Foundation Board of Directors is made up of members of the community.  The grant committee is comprised of educators, business professionals, other community members and students. MPSF has a grant cycle in each of the two semesters of the school year.
