*REMINDER*
Parent Teacher Conferences are happening this evening at MHS! For every teacher visit, parents will earn for their child a lunch coupon! That coupon can be redeemed for lunch to be dropped off by the parent in the office (no restaurant or food delivery services allowed).

Just a reminder, that all MHS Juniors will be taking the ACT exam on Tuesday, February 28th!
Please, make every effort for your student to be on time for school. Also, do not schedule appointments for your student this day if you can help it. You and your student can access helpful material at act.org/info-for-examinees to get prepared for exam day!

Attn: Juniors interested in representing MHS at Arkansas Boys State or Arkansas Girls State this summer!

Parents, we are looking forward to seeing you on Thursday, February 16th for Parent Teacher Conferences! When you visit your child's teachers you will receive a coupon with their name on it. This can be redeemed so that a parent can bring outside lunch to the school office, and we will get it to your child. This means your child could receive up to 7 coupons!
As school policy states, no outside food is allowed on campus right now, so our students are looking forward to having their favorite food during the school day!

Congratulations to Jayla Lambert, Drew Mickey, Riley McCook, Corey Hunter and Korecco Sargent, who join the ranks of the Magnolia students earning placement in the Arkansas All-State Choral Ensembles!

Congratulations to Drew Mickey and Blake Green who were selected to participate in the 2023 Arkansas All-State Band!

Order your yearbook today in order to guarantee you have a copy. You will want to cherish these memories for many years to come.

Help us congratulate Riley and Cason!
They passed the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Certification!
“ESB certification is built to test and validate foundation-level concepts and knowledge in entrepreneurship and small business management. These core concepts include entrepreneurship; recognizing and evaluating opportunities; planning for, starting, and operating a business; marketing and sales; venture capital and seed funding; and financial management.”

If you are self-employed, have a skilled trade, own a business, or work for a company/industry that would like to show our kids the endless career possibilities in our area, please consider participating in the MHS Career Awareness Fair.

Our January teacher of the month is Melanie Ladner. Mrs. Ladner is a solid and dependable member of our faculty. She is consistently teaching bell to bell; she has great classroom management and rapport with students. She is very knowledgeable in her content and in teaching it in a way that students can understand and relate to. We can always count on Mrs. Ladner to do whatever is asked of her without a complaint. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to our school, Mrs. Ladner!
