This past week we had seven students to participate in the K-12 Culinary Arts cooking contest (Dominic Vegas, Isahia Manning, Aundria Gilbert, Okoyah Cheatman, Ty Delany, and Javeon McCain. Students had one hour to cook any dish of their choice using ground beef, balsamic vinergrette, parmesan cheese, jalapeño peppers, and fried onions. The students made a variety of dishes such as spagetti, stuffed burgers, cheese dip, and fried tacos. SEMESTER TEST REMINDER
Freshman Academy and the 10-12 campus have a slightly different test schedule so please make sure you pay attention to the scheduling difference.
All students who have more than 4 tardies per class per semester, have less than a “C” average in the class per semester, or have any office referrals that resulted in out of school suspension MUST take the semester exams. These guidelines come from our Maintaining a Good School Atmosphere 2023 book on page 35. Below you will see the exam schedule for December 19th-21st.

Join us at the MPAC this evening for our MHS choral department winter concert.

Ms. Vann and Mrs. Cornett's class learned about teamwork. They worked as a team to build gingerbread houses!

Students from Mrs. Cornett's class enjoyed fun Christmas activities in the library with Mrs. Nix. They read the story How the Grinch Stole Christmas, played a game, and made Christmas ornaments. They even enjoyed a little snack!
