MAGNOLIA WELCOMES NEW TEACHERS AND STAFF
*Teacher Spotlight*
Katie Herren teaches in our math department at MHS. Mrs. Herren says that "Once a panther, always a panther. I love getting the opportunity to teach at my alma mater! I love seeing kids find something they are excited about in math, especially if they come to me disliking the subject." We appreciate you, and love having you here at MHS!
The work-based learning students at MHS were joined this morning by employees from Bodcaw Bank. Kelly Fatherree, Aniya Banks, Kaitlyn O'Donnell, and Jenny Marie Whitehead spoke to our students about checking and savings accounts. Thank you for the cool sunglasses, and for teaching us how to write and endorse checks!
Mrs. Owens caught Mr. Ford doing something awesome today. "Some of the players in my room were stressing about tying their ties for the game tomorrow. Coach Ford came in and gave them lessons on how to do it. They are going to look sharp!"
REMINDER: Wear your panther red tomorrow!
