1st grade Parent Night!

Meet Kathryn Quick! Our fabulous PIE coordinator for Kindergarten!
"Hey everyone, I'm Kathryn Quick and I am the PIE Campus Coordinator at Magnolia Kindergarten Center. I am a 2010 graduate of MHS. My husband is Rustyn Quick and we have three children; Ellie (6), Lawson (5) and Harrison (1).
As a stay at home parent that has been home with our kids from birth to
kindergarten, volunteering for PIE allows me to still feel close to my kids while getting to know the other students and staff better. It also helps fulfill my sense of purpose outside of my family.
I am incredibly thankful for the people that take care of all of our kids each day! They truly give so much, mentally and physically. Giving back to them is something that I think it so important because they cannot pour from an empty cup. My goal is for everyone to know that I am a phone call away and at the end of the day, I hope to bring a smile to someone's face through my volunteering."

Meet Nurse Kristie, Kindergarten Nurse
My name is Kristie Wood better known to my students as Nurse Kristie. I have been an LPN for 14 years and in December will be graduating with my Associate Degree in Nursing and sitting for RN boards. This is my 3rd year at the Kindergarten Center as the nurse and I love being able to help the students and staff from little things to the big scary ones.
Reminder to parents:
-please send an extra pair of clothes in your student's backpack for them to have if needed.
- do NOT cut food up in circles as this is a shocking hazard.
-do NOT send medications to school in backpacks. All medications much be check in with the nurse at the front office.
If you ever have any concerns or questions please feel free to reach out to me at 870-626-3260 or Kristie.wood@magnoliaschools.net
