Computer Science Specialists from all over the state came down and helped run a day of physical computing using the raspberry pi computer, circuits, LED bulbs and even held a hackathon for students to compete in. Students created a circuit to light an LED bulb, a game to calculate speed, and an etch-a -sketch using circuits and the raspberry pi. In the hackathon students solved puzzles, as well as riddles online to find a flag (the answer). Students also completed some physical challenges such as lock picking to get the flag for points. The team with the most points won!. It was a fun filled day to explore all things Computer Science!
